YF CAMP! =)

just got back from the doulos ship with the yf group and of course from the yf camp which lasted for 5 long days... =) THIS YEARS CAMP IS REALLY A TEST OF MENTAL RESELIENCE AND YOUR ATTENTION SPAN...

it was basically lecture styled... mostly spent in the chapel and rarely spent outside experiencing the world in the form of crazy games.. which i would prefer.. cos i dont have that much attention span... but overall... it was one great camp... learnt a lot of life lessons... in situations in the real world what a christian would do... and most importantly it brought me so so much closer to God... if habits count... i would fail dramatically... because ive been guilty of skipping quiet time... i always look forward to camps because you can toss everything aside and devote it all to God...

this camp would have been super super boring... if not for the friends in the youth group i wouldnt have survived this camp... the jokes, the laughter, the secrets, the heart to heart talks, the bombing sessions... they all made the day a little brighter and made this camp all the more fun... AMOS, SI YAN, JIAN MIN, KEVIN, SAMUEL, SI RUI, PEI YI, FELICIA, MARTIN, MATT... if not for these people... YF CAMP WOULD BE ALOT LESS INTERESTING...

uncle lawrence was without doubt one of the most inspiring people in the camp... one of the lecturers who i paid the most attention to.. because i respect him so much.. how he has the will power to change 180 from a gangster to a person so God fearing... his examples are so real that his lessons are etched into my heart and it really taught me the application of it to the real world...

DOULOS... had a tour of the ship today before we came back...it was a really fun and fufilling tour... and it sort of inspired me to be a missionary for God... looking at the love the duolos ladies had for us evening YFers .... it made me feel that working in the mission feild may not be that lonely after all... to see the ship up close and first hand really made me full of emotions and thoughts...

IM TIRED.. I N-E-E-D REST... THIS YF CAMPS BEEN TIRING BUT EMOTIONALLY FUFILLING... PLEASE DONT LET THIS YF DISBAND PLEASE DONT... THE FRIENDS IVE MADE HERE WILL TOTALLY LAST A LIFETIME...
