It's tiring, this ordeal

I've been reading this book called "Barefoot" and its honestly one of the most heartfelt and yet funny books i've ever read in my entire life.. Its about the fate of these 4 main characters... two sisters, one with stage 2 cancer, one who just got kicked out of university because of a student teacher relationship fling..one best friend who's gotten dumped by her ex only to find that she's pregnant.. and a humble charming kid from the airport who unexpectantly steps into their lives.. they all come to this island for a break only to find their fates intertwined...

Their story painfully reminds me of one fact... that the more friends you make and the more popular you are, the more you stand to loose.. so is it better to have no friends and go to your death bed knowing you only have yourself to loose... I know friends have enlightened my life and without them i probably wouldnt be who I am, but this painful fact really made me pause and think...

SADNESS OF LIFE ASIDE!

I just felt the urge to blog... I know I have to be studying... xDD this week has been pretty happening... with my uncles birthday on monday and sams birthday two days ago.. =)

Had a great lunch at sushi tei.. ordered loads of food... the SPICY MISO RAMEN in sushi tei is damn good!!.. =DD saw andre and andy unexpectedly at the place.. but I had a great time cos the food was absolutely great :).. oh and not to mention the handrolls, the crab, the maki and the chawamushi.. POWER!

Life's been tough lately ... the vision of you keeps running through my head even though in my mind i tell myself that it's over and i've given up all hope on making you mine... it de ja vu really when things happen all over again and I can't seem to stop it... maybe what pet said was right "the more you won't want to see a person the more the person shows up everywhere you go".... it hurts and i'm bitter, but time still ticks and everyday passes by, it may be hard to forget what you once were to me but i try, and always come short..

Promo's are coming a few days away and i think, i really think its been a year too quick... time's passed by in a blink of an eye and i was blatantly reminded by mdm wong of the horrible fact that we most probably have to be banded into different classes next year.. harsh harsh reality...

The promos are coming at a deadly speed.. two weeks to be exact.. 10 days to gp, two weeks to 28th sept where the rest of the papers start flooding in... In times like this I'll always remb what NICNICOLE! told me while we were busy mugging during the sept hols "aim for the stars and if you fall you'll land on the clouds" well said nic well said =)

Went shopping round with tegoeh today.. and had a great time as well.. cos NUM was having this discount 50 percent if you purchase two items, the founders day sale!.. we rushed in with such enthusiasm.. ive learnt my lessons from my poor limgreen brazilianoes that broke cos i ran with them... =) but what a bargain for 25 bucks eh ;)... HI SHERMS! HI SHERMS!

I've realised something that hasnt been realised... OVER-RESPONSIBILITY IS THE NEW RESPONSIBLE! :)...

I really find it a great joy to do jw cos of this great team YES TEAM D YOU ROCK!.. steph, martin, jz.. =D we always come up with something funny yet learn worthy in all our lessons, we are the undoubted ultimate team! =DD

Those material thingums

I have a load of brochures piled right before me after that trip to COMEX 09' today!... MY family headed there to get the camcorder... JVC to be exact and I had a peak at all the great deals that were there and of course drooled over what I always want... NIKON DSLR AND MACBOOK!... Lucky we were there early and the human traffic wasnt that bad YET... when we headed out after being psyched by a dude from sony that the camcorder there was the best, we found out that JVC sold it with equal and even better specs than what sony offered at a price that was 200 bucks lower... I cant wait to get started on checking out the functions of the camera!... The crowds came flooding in even at citilink... and i was happy i was getting out of this crowded mass of buying and selling... But it was great! If i had the money, the things I would get at comex...










I FEEL MORE HARDWORKING AND DETERMINED!!.. went to sign up to start driving lessons with my family today.. and im pretty excited about becoming a driver, because i always dreamt of owning a car!! and if i do well in my promos.. as in extremely well, then my wish may very well come true!.. ;)

Somethings we don't talk about

The september holidays are coming to an end =(... its hard to part with this great one weeks worth of break, catching up with my studies, sleep and friends.. what a great week it has been... productive of late... Ive finished doing most of maths and i feel im ready steady for maths.. econs has been great as well.. I JUST NEED TO GET DOWN TO CHEM, SOMETHING I HAVE BEEN PROCRASTINATING ALL THIS WHILE =)..

I thank all my friends who've been staying back in school to work hard with me... parthi and joel, studying in school till the library closed on wednesday and being scared of the quiet cross roads cafe... It was brilliantly productive... =) Aloy, and our LCP exploits in macdonalds, I know we're gonna be famous aloy i know it!.. hahaha... sherms and fabs for being so motivational in our fave library~!... my cousin for accompanying me to subway all the way at marina square to mug!... what would I do if not for all my friends, I would be killing my life away... KUDOS MY PEEPS!..

I've got a feeling, that TONIGHTS GONNA BE A GOOD NIGHT!.. I'm going off to mug and mug and do more mugging now! BASKETBALL TODAY REALLY MADE ME A MORE REFRESHED PERSON!... basketball again yfers please!!.. had a lot of fun with amos, siyan, sihan, peiyi and sam today... bballing followed by pool... i sweated like no tomorow and the ball fell into the drain, the huge one!... Life is great

Life is mundane she would tell me a we walked down that pathway into where we always met... Her life may be mundane but mine's great! =D..Time's when pictures turn black and white tells a story.. Time's on that sandy beach when you feel each grain of sand on your feet... You know it feels great great to be alive!..

The exams are horribly close... three weeks away and I think I'm almost there.. revision's been going great especially for maths and econs.. I always tend to steer away from subject I dont like, but honestly I have to face my fears, chemistry it staring at me, its a nightmare...

Whenever I'm tired

I just can't seem to make myself study here... The motivation is just starting to fade away.. What was once so clear an aim seemed to be fading into oblivion.. Evertime I start to loose motivation I turn to blogger to revive me, ranting sort of brings me back to harsh reality, when I pour our words that are deep within me, things just get back into place.. Whenever I post something up on blogger I find myself following the action just because it my lifes journal.. =)

Times are tough... Times are hard.. Time's are tiring.. I had enough of a break.. the promos are in 28 days!!.. exactly in 4 weeks time.. and I think I'm not ready at all... so I have to focus.. to deeply focus on what i aimed for.. at least 50 points...

HAPPY BELATED TEACHERS DAY TO ALL TEACHERS!!.. =) Went back to seconday schol yesterday to meet my teachers.. Montforts gonna go on prime soon and its gonna be for 2 years.. damn i'm going to miss montfort =(.. Mr Ho- who was one of the best teachers I had in secondary school, everytime i attended his bio lesson, it was a great laugh, he was the one who made me love bio(only to find that jc bio is 1000000 times tougher)... Mr Edwin Lee- the "funniest" teacher ever in montfort! Congrats on his promotion to science HOD! He talked to us for so long, talking about how his life was and the many retarded things that happened in the past... Mdm Tang- The maths teacher who couldnt get enough of our class! hahaha! She told us of how "guai" our class was compared to the 4e2 this year, and how we were naughty but intelligent (considering all of us "havoced" the most in maths class, the new batch must really be bad)... THE SCHOOL WHERE SO MANY MANY MEMORIES WERE FORMED THE BATCH OF US WHO WERE SO CLOSE TO EACH OTHER..

Saw a lot of our batch of montfortians back as well.. Kosol, Clive, Chris, Joshua Anand, Dinesh, Shaun, Zerah, Tse Chuan and the list went on... Walking down memory lane never seemed to be so heatwrenching before... that familiar courtyard, that assembly plaza, that canteen where everything used to happen, the old beside toilet 4e2 classroom which we all loved... those old days all no more next year =/

NOT TO MENTION THE BEST CLASS ON THE FACE OF THE UNIVERSE!... 4E2... =) We had so much fun in the past.. and when we met, Nicholas, Changwei, Ed, Roh, You Xian, Song wei, Sam, Gareth and Marcus... We all had a lot to catch up and its great to find everyone still doing so well.. heartwarming really, to find everyone though changed in outlook, still so familiar in their character.. We had a lot of fun pastamania, pointing into the mirror when the new building was the other way... 4E2 FTW =D
